The other names of Briard are Berger Briard, and Berger de Brie. This breed was used in the ‘French Army’ as messenger or sentry for its good hearing sense. 

Appearance

The briard may be available in both light and dark colors. Their face and ears may also have light or dark colors. These breeds stand at 22-27 inches at withers. They have a long coat which needs a lot of grooming.

Temperament

This breed is very protective and loyal in nature. Their whole body is wrapped in golden fur. After having a bond with the members of their family, they will always try to protect them. They can remain secluded from the strangers. This breed can be easily kept with children but before doing the same they should be trained .Its memory is also very sharp. At times they may become strong headed and stubborn. 

Health

The problems that Briads experience are mostly suffered by the other dogs as well. This is quite a healthy dog.

I have no qualms in recommending the Secrets to Dog Training package to anyone who owns, or is thinking about owning, a dog. You don’t need to have a “problem pet” for the book to be of assistance: there’s information included that can be useful to any and all dog owners.

From personal experience, the only other thing I would do is upgrade to the Secrets to Dog Training premium version because it has an online video series that is excellent as well as software which allows you to keep track of all the necessary and important details about your dog such as medical history, vaccinations, operations, appointments, obedience training, and much more.
